New partnership with the Cégep Marie-Victorin
News
In keeping with the Katimavik program’s mission to provide participants with a unique informal learning experience, the Cégep Marie-Victorin is now offering Francophones and Anglophones from Québec the opportunity to take officially recognized college-level courses during the program. All courses offered are recognized by the Québec Minister of Education, Recreation and Sports and participants will be given Humanities and Social Sciences credit in the Québec college network.

A team of experienced teachers, who are all familiar with the Katimavik program, have prepared pedagogical material and syllabi appropriate for Katimavik participants. Guided lectures and evaluation grids are fundamental elements of this program’s methodology, which will make connections between the course material and the participants’ lived experiences.
