Take part in our programs and help us serve more communities and youth. You can choose the option that best suits your wants, needs, skills and availability from the following range of opportunities:
Become a volunteer
Join Katimavik as a volunteer and participate in our learning through volunteer service programs.
Work as a Project Leader
Become a Katimavik employee and youth coach as you live with 17-21 year-old young Canadians that have chosen to become full-time Katimavik volunteers.
Become a host family
Open your home to a Katimavik volunteer and provide them with an extraordinary look into your regional and cultural reality.
Become a parent ambassador
Parents play an important role in supporting their son or daughter’s enrolment in Katimavik. Be there to help guide a parent considering Katimavik as an alternative for their son or daughter!
Become a work supervisor
Do you work for a not-for-profit organization? Take the opportunity to foster the development of a young volunteer through our learning program.
