Fiija invites you to make a donation towards her Canadian tour

Fiija Derro, an alumna of the 2009-2010 Eco-citizenship and Active Living program, undertook an extraordinary adventure: biking across Canada! Fiija’s adventure began on March 20 in Tofino, British-Columbia. Come August 2, she will have crossed nine provinces and five time zones. Fiija will have traveled over 5,500 km and stopped in over 75 communities when she reaches her final destination of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her goal is to promote volunteerism and its impact on communities, particularly through Katimavik.

Katimavik is proud to have Fiija as a spokesperson this year. To support Fiija during her trip, make a donation online now.

For more information on Fiija Derro’s Canadian tour, including her itinerary, check out her blog, Facebook page and Twitter page. If you would like to contribute (with lodging, a meal, etc.), you can write to Fiija at fiija.derro@spokesandspice.com
