Communities and partner organizations 2009-2010Each year, 1350 participants volunteer for more than 700 community partner organizations in 99 host communities across Canada. Katimavik’s 2009-2010 program dates are: Katimavik Classic – 9 months partnership September 23, 2009 to June 16, 2010 October 7th, 2009 to June 30th, 2010 New 6 month programs - 12 months partnership Cultural Discovery and Civic EngagementMarch 3, 2010 to July 18, 2010 Eco-citizenship and Active Living March 3, 2010 to July 21, 2010 Second Language and Cultural DiversityThe volunteer work projects that participants take part in are very diverse.
