Become a parent ambassador

As the parent of a Katimavik alumnus or alumna, you’re one of our organization’s best representatives. If you’re interested in putting your experience to good use, you could become a Katimavik ambassador.

Ambassadors play a major role in promoting Katimavik’s mission to other adults and parents. Whether by sharing your knowledge with friends or participating in organized activities, your advocacy is indispensable to our program.

As an ambassador, you have the chance to make a difference by participating in various activities, such as:

• Giving presentations at work;
• Giving presentations at social clubs such as Rotary, Lions, Optimist, etc;
• Correspond and share your personal experience with concerned parents of potential volunteers;
• Becoming a press spokesperson and give interviews on the radio, television, or print media.
