Alumni profiles

As a Katimavik alumnus or alumna, you’re part of a rich and diverse group. Since 1977, over 30,000 young Canadians have completed a Katimavik program. Their ages range from 18 to 50 and over. While most alumni still live in Canada, many have moved abroad to countries such as Scotland, Japan, Brazil and the United States.

Alumnus of the month

Every month, Katimavik highlights an alumnus who has made a mark in their community, either with Katimavik or elsewhere. We select alumni based on a number of criteria: hours of volunteer work, contribution to society, personal achievements, extraordinary adventures, professional accomplishments, and so on.
