Nicknamed “the hub of Nova Scotia” because in this province, all roads lead to Truro, the community comprises 13,000 mainly English-speaking residents. Located in Colchester County, on the banks of the Salmon River, at the mouth of Fundy Bay, the town is also a regional crossroads. The main industries are dairy farming and forestry.
