Alliston is located about an hour from Toronto, south of Barrie. After merging with the towns of Beeton, Tottenham and Tecumseth, it is now part of the municipality of New Tecumseth. This community is known for its natural beauty. The Boyne River, the Nottawasaga River and the Earl Rowe Park, where wild geese often stop and rest, are ideal for salmon fishing, walking and swimming. The new municipality of Tecumseth is made up of more than 26,000 residents, most of whom are English-speaking.
